Rexburg Idaho Temple

I was able to attend the Rexburg, Idaho Temple Open House with Melissa, Eric and Porter. What a beautiful temple. What a blessing for all the students to have a temple so close. I'm excited to attend a session in April when we go for Eric's graduation. I'm also glad it was dedicated and finished before Melissa and Eric moved.

Blessing Day

What a darling family.

Ashton's blessing day was wonderful. The Cochruns, Keith and Susan came, and Sussie, and Mom and Dad were there and Bob and Heidi and Tom and Christy. Bob ordained Tom as an Elder before church so he could stand in the circle for the baby blessing. It's wonderful to watch the priesthood in action. Especially when it's your own family. It was nice to see Bob ordain his son and Loren bless his son. Mandy and Rob came later. Little Ashton was glad for everyone to leave so he could just snuggle with his mommy.
We are so proud of all of our kids.

PS: Sarah made the blessing blanket you see in the picture.

Ali and Porter

This was New Years Day 2008

Alicyn and Porter had fun playing together.

Porter was teething - thus his tongue was hanging out the whole time.

What darling kids

The Grandma Tradition continues

Grandma and Grandpa (my mom and dad)used to buy the kids Baskin-Robbins Ice cream on New Years Eve.

I decided to carry on that tradition with the next generation. This is Porter's first clowny cone, but Ali is a little more experienced.

TOAST

I have to say this is my new favorite song.
Makes me laugh everytime I hear it.
